21st Century Grant- After School Adventures
We are excited to offer the 21st Century After School Adventures (ASA) program to students at Riverbank, Saluda River AA, Cayce, Congaree, and Wood elementary schools! K5 students at Congaree-Wood Early Childhood Center only may also participate in the program. This is a grant-funded program; therefore your child(ren) can attend at no cost to you.
ASA is designed to serve students at the above-named schools who need additional help succeeding in school, especially in reading and/or math. For the 2020-21 school year, students must be in the hybrid/blended model of instruction (Track A or Track B), to participate in ASA. Students may be recommended by teachers or parents. Space is very limited; and is filled on a first-come, first-served basis. A complete, returned application is required for students to participate.
The program provides students with high quality academic sessions, homework assistance, engaging enrichment activities such as arts/crafts, music, sports, and other exciting opportunities. The program operates Monday through Friday from 2:30-5:00 from mid-September through May, on full school days. Bus transportation is available. If parents prefer, students may be picked up at the end of the program day by a parent/guardian or other authorized adult.
