Temporary changes made in processes to enroll, withdraw students

WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Lexington Two’s processes for enrollment and withdrawal of students has changed temporarily as a result of Coronavirus (COVID-19) school closures.  The SC Department of Education has advised that the process be completed electronically, and not in person, in an abundance of caution.

ENROLL NEW STUDENTS (4K-12) FOR CURRENT 2019-20 SCHOOL YEAR

Enrollment for the current school year, open to 5K-12th grade students, will be completed electronically.

If you are new to the district and need to enroll your child, please send an email to [email protected]. Please include a contact name, email and phone number for the parent or guardian.

You will receive a follow-up email with instructions, Monday-Friday, on how to complete registration in this temporary process. Once the governor reopens schools, new families may be asked to come to the Student Services office (114 Hook Ave., West Columbia) or their assigned school to complete and/or present additional paperwork.

New students in grades 3-12 will not be given district-issued electronic devices at this time, but will need to use their own personal technology to complete eLearning assignments.  If the student does not have a device, a request can be made with a teacher(s) for print assignments.

New students in kindergarten-second grades will receive print learning packets and other instructions in the mail.
