Continuous Improvement Plans
Per the South Carolina Department of Education, "underperforming schoo"l means a school that receives an overall rating of Unsatisfactory or Below Average on its annual school report card, as provided in Section 59-18-900. According to Education Accountability Act - Article 16, Underperforming schools must complete a Turnaround Plan (Continuous Improvement Plan). The plans below outline goals for a school's educational improvement that include specific strategies designed to increase student achievement and to evaluate the success of the implementation of the plan so that the school is no longer underperforming or chronically underperforming.
