High schools offer family-friendly trick-or-treating, AHS on Oct. 28, BCHS on Nov. 1

WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Lexington Two’s high schools are inviting the community for family-friendly trick-or-treating on their campuses.

 

UPDATE: In light of a rainy weather forecast, Airport's event will still take place on Thursday, Oct. 28, but indoors, starting in the cafeteria. Brookland-Cayce will move its event to Monday, Nov. 1.

Free candy will be handed out at both events, and costumes are encouraged.

 

  • Airport High School’s Trick or Treat Lane is set for 5:30 p.m.- 7 p.m. on the school campus, 1315 Boston Ave., West Columbia. With rain in the forecast, the event is moving indoors, beginning in the cafeteria and looping through the school, with trick-or-treat stations throughout. Once you arrive on campus, instructions and directions will be available. The event is coordinated by Student Council, with clubs and community members handing out candy.

 

  • Brookland-Cayce High School’s drive-thru Trunk or Treat is set for Monday, Nov. 1, from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on the school campus, 1300 State St., Cayce. The event is coordinated by the school’s DECA organization, with help from other student clubs and groups in handing out candy.

 

Admission is free.
