Game Day information for Lexington Two facilities

WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Athletic events for the 2025-2026 school year are getting under way, and we encourage everyone to attend an event (or two) and enjoy time together with family, friends, and fellow fans.

As part of Lexington Two’s goal of creating a safe and enjoyable game day experience, we want to share some important information about attending athletic events at our district schools.

NEW: Only Clear Bags Permitted

In order to expedite gate entry at home athletic events, Lexington Two will now only permit clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags, or a one-gallon plastic freezer bag. Bags should not exceed 12" x 6" x 12". Click this link for important details on the district's clear bag requirements

In addition, please note that in the district’s high school stadiums and arenas, as well as at the district office (board meetings) and Performing Arts Center, event attendees will be asked to walk through a metal detector.  Anyone with a prohibited item at the gate will be asked to take the item back to a vehicle before being permitted to enter.

NEW: Reduced Price Tickets for Students

This past spring, at the suggestion of Lexington Two high school student leaders and with the support of administration and the board, student ticket prices at spring high school sports events were reduced to $2 cash at the event gate. This fall, that $2 student ticket price for high school athletic events will continue, with middle schools also offering the same $2 price to students at their home athletic events — and students must present their Lexington Two ID at the gate to get the discounted price. Again, it’s $2 cash at the gate for a student ticket. We hope this helps students attend and support their school teams!

Student Attendance At Athletic Events

Middle (or elementary) school students who want to attend an athletic event at any of the middle schools or high schools in Lexington Two must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to enter. No exceptions.

Silver Pass and All Sports Pass Now Available

Lexington Two is again offering its Silver Pass and All Sports Pass for pickup in August and September, so eligible district residents (ages 65-plus), first responders, and others can get passes that allow free admission to most regular season district athletic events. Those eligible can have passes made Wednesday-Friday from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m. at the District Education Center, 3205 Platt Springs Road, West Columbia. Click this link to view who is eligible for these tickets.

Purchase Tickets In Advance At GoFan

The district uses GoFan for mobile ticketing at our middle and high school events.  Adults who would like to purchase event tickets may visit GoFan and search for their school to find currently ticketed events at https://gofan.co/search.

Fan Conduct

To ensure a safe and welcoming game day experience, we expect everyone to conduct themselves in a fair, respectful, and sportsmanlike manner. It’s fine to disagree with a call, for example, but don’t yell or swear at athletes or coaches. Fans from both teams have a right to be there and voice support for their team, even if it’s not yours. No horns, whistles, or other noisemakers that disrupt the game and/or fan experience.  Lexington Two has a law enforcement presence for safety at all games, and they may be asked to speak with fans whose behavior is not appropriate for a game day environment.

Remember, everyone attends sporting events for the same reason — to support our Lexington Two students and cheer for our schools.  Here’s to a great 2025-2026 year for all of our athletes, coaches, and teams.
