WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Several Lexington Two senior-level welding students from Airport High and Brookland-Cayce High were recognized at the April 11 Cayce City Council meeting for a special creation.
The students made a sign to be used at city events -- including the April 14 Soiree on State Street -- and other activities.
And their thank you? Firefighters at the 12th Street station will be preparing lunch for the students! They are Chance Harrelson, Bryson Hutto, Jonathan Jones, Brandon Rucker, William Shumpert, all of Airport; and Zack Timmons and Gabe Yanik of Brookland-Cayce. Their instructor is Laird Thompson.
