Lexington Two offers free screenings for disability programs, services

 


WEST COLUMBIA, SC --  Do you know of a child or adolescent who may have a disability?


Lexington Two offers free screenings for ages 2-21, to see whether individuals may be eligible for special services. The school district provides programs and services for developmental delay, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, emotional disability, speech or language impairment, deafness and hearing impairment, visual impairment, deaf-blindness, orthopedic impairment, other health impairment, traumatic brain injury, autism and multiple disabilities. All names of those referred will remain confidential.


For questions about specific programs and services, contact Lisa Harmon at (803) 796-4708.  During the summer months, she can be reached from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and starting August 13, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
