Education Department seeks feedback on state report cards

The SC Department of Education (SCDE) is seeking public comment and suggestions for changes to the South Carolina Accountability System, school and district report cards, and the federal plan under the Every Student Succeeds Act.

Please visit the link below, and share it with fellow parents, teachers, administrators, and your school community, so that they can offer comments and suggestions related to South Carolina’s public K-12 accountability system.

Report Card Feedback Form

Please note that for the 2018-19 school year, the U.S. Department of Education has set a deadline of March 1, 2019 for submissions; to allow for review by the Education Oversight Committee and the Governor, a draft must be completed in January 2019. The SCDE will, however, continue to accept input for changes in future accountability years.
