WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Are you a Lexington Two fourth- or fifth-grade student who likes to cook?
Get your favorite recipe for a healthy Mexican dish and enter it into the 8th annual Future Chef Competition.
Judging for the event, presented by Sodexo, is based on the following:
- Originality
- Kid friendlness
- Ease of preparation
- Healthy attributes
- Plate presentation
- Taste
Applications are available in the cafeteria or the main office, and the deadline to turn in recipes at either of those same locations is Friday, January 18.
If you’re selected as a finalist, you will be notified in February, then you’ll be invited to a culinary cookoff on Thursday, March 7, at 4 pm at the Lexington Two Innovation Center.
