Public Information Office

The purpose of the Public Information Office is to strengthen the relationships and support for the district’s schools, staff, and community.  The district’s goal is open communication and transparency. 

The Public Information Office is a point of contact for the media, community, and other stakeholders. The office is responsible for a number of internal and external communications functions, among them the writing and dissemination of news releases, writing and management of the district website, writing and production of newsletters, advertising, and postings on district social media platforms. The office also coordinates several annual district recognition programs,  among them District Teacher of the Year, employee retirement and service awards, Heroes and Heroines, and others.
