Insurance Benefit Guides:

 

The 2025 Insurance Benefits Guide (IBG) is available online by going to the website at www.peba.sc.gov This guide is a valuable resource you can use throughout the year. 

  

Important Reminders:

 

Please be sure to check your first pay stub in 2025 to ensure that the deductions are correct for the coverage you selected during the annual enrollment.  If you detect a discrepancy, please contact Christine Tarte-Churchwell at 739-4056 or [email protected].   

 

Insurance changes permitted by a special eligibility situation must be made within 31 days of the qualifying event.  For more information, please refer to the 2025 Insurance Benefits Guide.


The Employee Insurance Program (EIP) website, www.peba.sc.gov provides tools to help you make the best use of your insurance.  It includes various links to the websites of health, dental, and vision plan providers, ASIFlex and others.  Additional features include online directories, Insurance Benefits Guide, publications, newsletters, and copies of forms.  Also, by clicking on MyBenefits, you can print a list of the insurance plans under which you are covered anytime you have access to the Internet.  If you have not already done so, you will need to register.  Information about how to use MyBenefits is offered as you work through the program.  Helpful links and publications are listed below.  Please note that when you use these links, you are leaving the Lexington Two website.

Retirement:

 

The open enrollment period for all State Optional Retirement Program (ORP) participants is from January 1 through March 1 of each year.  During the open enrollment period, State ORP participants may change vendors or, if eligible, may irrevocably elect to join the South Carolina Retirement System (SCRS). Additional information has been sent directly to each ORP participant.  

The Retirement System website,www.peba.sc.gov, includes information regarding your retirement contributions, legislative updates regarding the retirement system and other helpful links for your convenience.  Listed below are some helpful links.  Please note when you use these links you are leaving the Lexington Two website.

Employee Assistance Program: AllOne Health

 

AllOne Health EAP Services  provides Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services for all employees and dependents of Lexington County School District Two.  

 

The EAP benefit covers 4 confidential short-term counseling visits per person, per issue, per year and is at no cost to employees and their families.  Lexington Two has pre-paid for this benefit for all employees and their dependents (at home or away) and the entire household (blood relatives or not).

 

The EAP can assist with many different types of problems.  Among these are stress, depression, anxiety, workplace difficulties, substance abuse, marital problems, family or parenting conflicts, grief, violence and unhealthy lifestyles. The EAP can also provide additional assistance with, and tools & referrals for:

 

-  Mental Health Resources

-  Financial Consultation

-  Legal Consultation

-  Will templates (with or without children)

-  Work-Life Resources

-  Personal Assistance

-  Medical Advocacy

- Pet Care

- Travel

- Home Repair

- Childcare/Eldercare

-  Reimbursed Ride (Cab, Uber, RideShare, Lyft)

The EAP benefit is not only free to all employees and their dependents, but it is also confidential.  AllOne Health EAP is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  AllOne Health will also coordinate with Lexington Two’s Health Plan for cases that are not EAP appropriate and require treatment under your medical benefit.
