Seventy-five middle and high school students have been selected for the 2025-2026 Lexington Two District Honor Band.
Both middle and high school students will spend time learning and rehearsing new music with master educators. Middle school musicians will work with master educator Mike Doll, while high schoolers will work with master educator Otto Hage.
Members of the Lexington Two District Honor Band will give a free concert, open to the public, January 30 at 6:30 p.m. The event will be at the Lexington Two Performing Arts Center, 3205 Platt Springs Road.
"The Lexington 2 Honor Band Clinic is a great experience for musicians from across our district to come together and work with our outstanding guest educators,” said Busbee Creative Arts Academy band director Hunter Reese, who works with the program. “As we launch our seventh annual clinic, I am deeply grateful to our district leadership and Board of Trustees for their continued investment in the arts, ensuring that our musicians have the elite resources they need to excel."
